What are Sports Injuries?

Wikipedia says that sports injuries are: "injuries that occur to athletes participating in sporting events." There are a few types of sports injuries, but one very common and avoidable one is an overuse injury. It is the most preventable injury, and treatable with R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation)

Meriweather looks ahead after fine for big hit

Brandon Meriweather was fined $50k for the big hit on Raven's TE Todd Heap last Sunday in the overtime win. He looks to move forward and prepare for the next Sunday's battle against the Chargers. Rodney Harrison called Brandon Meriweather and asked him if this new rule will change the way he plays, Meriweather said 'yes'. Meriweather said he would not answer further questions on the big hit.
